The pivot mounting with spherical bearing is a cylinder mounting with two degrees of freedom of movement. This enables a swivel mounting of the cylinder.
By additionally attaching a rod eye to the piston rod, the cylinder can be supplemented to form an axis with 2 swivel joints.
The cylinder force is applied centrally to the cylinder axis through the spherical bearing, so that no lateral forces arise by bracing.
A spherical plain bearing subject to regular maintenance inspection is installed in the rod end bearing.
More detailed information on the spherical plain bearings installed here you can find under spherical plain bearings.
Additional parts for mounting, such as flanges, can be attached to the cylinder.
