The locking unit Ratio-Clamp® can be used horizontally as well as vertically. It fixes round rods independently of direction with the help of a spring in case of power failure and opens via hydraulic pressure directly at the same position without rod retraction.

The safety catcher is used for clamping rods in vertical applications. It locks based on a self-reinforcing principle and can be loaded in either tension or compression. Unlocking is achieved via hydraulic or pneumatic pressure.
