The two lugs welded onto the cylinder can be used for cylinder mounting. Since the cylinder force is applied excentrically, however, the potential generation of lateral forces has to be checked.
This is a cylinder fixation without any degree of freedom that permits an inflexible installation.
Additional parts for mounting, such as flanges, can be attached to the cylinder.
The position of the lugs on the cylinder tube is freely selectable.
Temperature and pressure cause the hydraulic cylinder to expand. This is provided for by designing the front lug as a fixed bearing and the back foot as a movable bearing with axial clearance.
Do not strain cylinders when installing.
