Seal replacement
General advice

Please observe the general advice for disassembly and assembly of hydraulic cylinders under heading the disassembly and assembly cover.

Notice	Damage due to improper tools Disassembly of the sealing elements only with suitable tools. Avoid damage to the groove base and the workpiece edges. Avoid damage to the new sealing elements. Avoid damage to the guide and running surfaces.

Notice	Damage to the sealing lips on the cover due to sharp-edged rod ends such as threaded flanks or wrench flats! Slide the cover over the end of the piston rod, carefully.

To avoid damage to the sealing elements by unsuitable tools, we recommend the use of Hänchen assembly tools.
