Guiding system cover

The guiding system in the cover wear rings consists of PTFE-based strips loosely wrapped around the rod.

This guidance is suitable for universal application, especially if there are no special requirements for the cylinder movement.

Due to the tolerances of groove and wear ring thickness, this guidance system is - especially for single rod cylinders - suitable for "simple" long-stroke movements or for high temperatures.

In the precise and rigid test actuators of the 320 series, in combination with the Servofloat^®, Servoseal^® or Servocop^® sealing systems, the guidance systems with wear rings can support very high loads and thus permit very high lateral forces on the piston rod.
