The release pressure refers to the pressure required to release the holding load of the clamping unit.
Basic release pressure
The basic release pressure ranges from a minimum pressure, which is dimension-dependent, to a maximum permissible pressure of 160 bar.
Reduced release pressure
The reduced release pressure is approximately 30% below this level and is particularly suitable for applications with low supply pressure, such as in machine tools.
Maximum holding load
The maximum holding load depends on the release pressure and can be selected in the HäKo. These values apply to operation with mineral oil. When using other fluids, the holding load may be lower.
