Fabian Schöch has successfully completed his training as an industrial mechanic – and is staying with the Hänchen team!
Fabian, how did you first become aware of Hänchen?
“I always wondered what the company actually does – you see it when driving by and the logo stands out. Then I found out more (surprisingly, nothing to do with roast chicken), did an internship – and after that it was clear: This is where I want to go!"
Your training at Hänchen in three words?
“Informative, varied, teamwork.”
Your highlight during the training?
“The service assignment at a major agricultural machinery manufacturer. I've always been fascinated by their products – and seeing how these machines are manufactured was impressive. Our involvement in the anniversary cylinder project was also particularly shaping: It was challenging, but I was able to experience firsthand how solutions are developed together under pressure and how responsibility is assumed.”
What do you do at Hänchen today?
“Currently, I am in the testing department and test test actuators as well as special products that deviate from our standards. Starting in September, I'll move on to service & repair – I'm looking forward to it!”
What do you appreciate most about your daily work?
“The flexibility, working independently – and above all the good working atmosphere with many nice colleagues.”
And how do you clear your head after work?
“With 3D printing, guitar or tennis.”
We are thrilled that you are staying, Fabian – here's to exciting projects, whether in service or in the construction of machines!
