Hydraulic test cylinders of the 320 series can bear higher lateral forces on the piston rod without damage to the cylinder or the piston rod.
The admissible lateral force depends first and foremost on the cylinder's total stroke and the diameter of the piston rod, and also on the guide system in the cover - Servofloat® or Servobear®.
Furthermore, the admissible lateral force depends on the stroke position, i.e. the retracted state can allow a higher lateral force load than the extended state.
LH | stroke position |
FQ | lateral force |
F1, 2 | load on bearing |
The admissible lateral forces are indicated for the stroke positions extended, intermediate and retracted.
