Catalogue cylinders in the foundry for automobile industry
Eleven fully-automated foundry centres with integrated robots for deburring the castings form the core of the pressure die-casting department at Auto Heinen. They operate with a closing force of 220 to 630 tons. In addition to this there are two 600 ton foundry centres without automated deburring.

New compact design of hydraulic cylinders with position transducer
Hänchen Hydraulik GmbH from Ostfildern and Balluff GmbH from Neuhausen have developed an extremely compact hydraulic cylinder incorporating a stroke measuring system. They have jointly developed the prototype of a cylinder with an external magnetostrictive stroke measuring system.
