Double rod cylinder with position transducer - hydraulic test systems

Customised and Yet Ready–Made

What at first sounds like a contradiction, is part of the new logic of the Hänchen development for test cylinders. In the past, high-quality test cylinders for demanding tests were often designed larger than required, owing to the active surface areas achieved thereby - resulting in problems with peripheral devices.

A customised test cylinder for high-dynamics applications in the test sector, featuring an adapted design in terms of add-on elements, valves, sensors, pump, etc., all coming from our modular system - this has now been made possible by the new Premium series 326.

Premium Series 326

The double rod cylinders of the new Hänchen series 326 are compact and smaller than they used to be. But they are as powerful. Their new outstanding feature is the variably selectable piston diameter, which allows the piston surface area to be customised. Just tell us, for example, the force your system requires, and we shall supply you with the matching test cylinder from our modular system. The first-class cover versions Servofloat® and Servobear® are included, depending on the requirement.

You can save a lot!

The add-on parts for your first "customised cylinder" will fit for the most part also your next one. This is one of the advantages of the modular system. This is why a few manual operations is all that is needed to set up your test rig for the next job. This allows you to use the existing test environment to the fullest and save a lot of time when reconverting it. The logical consequence: lower purchase costs for peripheral devices, but especially rapidly decreasing operating costs.

Other novel features include

  • Swivel trunnion on cylinder tube fastening type
  • Cylindrical base fastening type Higher rigidity through conical shape. Cone "keeps growing", i.e., it gets longer as the cylinder gets longer.
  • Flanged head add-on part
  • Force transducer add-on part - they can be screwed directly onto the piston rod wherever possible without an adapter.
