Deployment example linear drive Servocop®:
"blossoming charm" at the EXPO 2000
The blossoming petal roof of the Venezuela pavilion was opened and closed with the aid of the Ratio-Drive® electrohydraulic system solution. Here a total of 16 large Servocop® hydraulic cylinders made by Hänchen were used.

4-cylinder testing system from MAHA-AIP
Stored road values are sent as set points to the hydraulic cylinders, which in turn simulate the road surface and thus transfer the corresponding loads to the suspension struts. The hydraulic controller is mounted directly into the Hänchen hydraulic cylinder and together with the valve mounting plate and attendant proportioning valve it forms a highly compact drive unit. Here, maximum speeds of up to approx. 500 mm/sec can be achieved.

Tallest and most powerful dynamic driving simulator in Germany is testing automobiles of tomorrow. Huge double rod cylinders of Hänchen are used in the HEXaDrive® HOVER of the Simtec Ltd. (Braunschweig). With strokes about nearly 2 meters and piston rods with a length of 4500 millimeters.
